For me, pottying my children is part of every day life.
I don't pick and choose when to do it, I just do it because it makes sense and it's what we all expect.
That's not to say we live in hippy harmony and my toddler never wets her pants.
Far from it.
We live normal lives in an outer London suburb, we have fitted carpets everywhere apart from the kitchen, hallway and bathroom, we don't have a downstairs loo and we get through lots and lots of small pairs of trousers...
The pages in this section focus on some of the aspects of infant pottying that crop up when it is part of every day life.
For night specific information, look at the night time page and find out more than you ever thought you wanted to know about the evening pre-emptive wee (a personal favourite of mine).
To Us It's All So Very Normal.
Always a potty in the room.
Always a tree available outside.
All part of normal life to babies who've been pottied from birth.
Nearly two and nearly four and using the potties as part of a game.
